Healthy Families Initiative
Due to the nature of our multi-year funding, we have completed all of the Healthy Families Initiative grant awards for 2023. New opportunities will be posted in 2024.
South Lane Granting Focus 2022-2025
Funding focused on social, emotional, physical, and wellbeing programs that utilize policies, services, and skill development to support children and youth ages 5 to 18 living in the South Lane School District with an emphasis on:
· Comprehensive Health Education
· Development and Maintenance of Healthy Relationships
• Social and Emotional Wellbeing Services
• Mentorship of Children and Young People
Preferred programs utilize interventions that address potential problems before they occur through the use of education, advocacy or mentorship.
These funds were awarded as part of an open proposal process of eligible programs and were reviewed by a panel of people who live and/or work in South Lane County. Several grants were multi-year and represent a commitment of $1,463,654.*
*In addition, $720,000 was committed to South Lane County organizations earlier in 2022.
